Stanley Rawles died from wounds on 12th April, 1915, after having been sent to a base hospital on the coast, but as yet there is no information as to when and where he was wounded. The 2nd Cornwall Light Infantry battalion was part of 82 Brigade, 27th Division, and had been holding the line around Ypres during the opening months of 1915. |
